Judi Knott has over twenty-nine years of marketing experience with deep expertise in strategic marketing and marketing communications in the financial services and healthcare industries.  As a member of the ClearSage Advisory Group, Judi currently provides consulting services in the retirement plan services, recordkeeping, and asset management industries.

 

Judi is an experienced strategic marketing professional and has over sixteen years of experience as the leader of participant communications and education programs for leading retirement plan services providers including Empower and T. Rowe Price, as well as serving as the Director of Marketing for CUNA Mutual Group’s Retirement Solutions Division.  In these roles she has been responsible for aligning participant communication and education programs with the company’s overall strategy and other functional areas including sales, sales support, client services, compliance, and operations. 

 

While at Empower, Judi led the strategic development and establishment of its participant communications program, which required a synthesis of the legacy businesses of JP Morgan, Great West, and Putnam, to create Empower’s unique positioning in the market. 

 

While at CUNA Judi led the strategy development and execution for the product marketing and sales marketing functions.

 

While at T. Rowe Price Judi created and implemented participant communications programs that focused on delivering measurable and improved participant outcomes. 

 

In her current Chief Marketing Officer role at the Board of Certification/Accreditation, Judi is responsible for developing and directing the business development and marketing strategy for the entire organization, including the strategic planning and execution of its corporate communications programs.

Judi earned her MBA and her MA in Communications Design from the University of Baltimore.   She earned her BA in Professional Writing from Wheeling Jesuit University. 

 

Judi has held the following NASD licenses:  Investment Company Products Exam (Series 6 – Variable Contracts Representative Exam)
